Best Accounting-Related Blog Posts for February, 2017
We have tried to include in this selection a few blogs that we haven't mentioned before. One of those is a nine-year-old blog called Accounting Practice Business Development Blog. This post, titled The Most Powerful Business Development Phrase, is in itself a very powerful post. It goes into great detail about how to land that new client, and the phrasing to use when you submit your proposal. Good stuff there.
Another new blog we have discovered is called Advice for Tax Preparers and this blog post, Learn Why New Accounting Staff Eat Time & How to Fix the Problem is a wonderful read for those of you who own accounting firms and have new employees. Reading this post can save you a lot of headaches down the road.
This post from Golden Practices Blog titled, Top 10 Marketing & Sales FAQs for CPA and Law Firm Partners, is a fantastic read for all CPAs, accountants, and bookkeepers. In fact, we would venture to say that it could be a touchstone for all your marketing and sales questions and business plans. The post is that thorough.
We really love the title of this post from the Bond Bebee accounting firm blog, Administrative Expenses: Whose Alligator Boots are You Buying? Though the title is funny, the information contained therein is far from it. This is serious help to keep from having unnecessary administrative expenses in your accounting firm.
Our final selection for the best blog posts for February, 2107 is from another accounting firm, Schneider Downs. The post is called Lifestages: Pay Down Debt or Save? and discusses personal finance, savings, debt, and wealth management ideas and solutions. A really good read.
As we stated at the beginning of this blog post from MoneyThumb, if you would like to suggest another accounting-related blog posts, simply leave your suggestions in the comments below.
